When Little Is Much

And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And He called unto His disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that this poor widow hast cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury. For they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.(Mark 12:42-44 biblehub.com) I’ve heard it stated… that she gave out of her want (wanting something; a blessing in return). I perceive the scripture to be saying… that the widow gave out of her want (want to give/heart desire). Though the widow did not have much, it did not deter her from wanting to participate in the giving opportunity.

Financial giving is the responsive thing to do in accordance with The Word of GOD.

Now therefore perform the doing of it, that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have… But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: As it is written, He that hath gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack. (2 Corinthians 8:11,14-15 biblehub.com)

Praise GOD for JESUS. Amen.

Do you know JESUS as Savior and Lord? Receive Him into your life Today. You may say the following prayer, or you may use your own words: Thank You, Father GOD, for sending Your Son JESUS to die for the sins of the world. Thank You, JESUS, for dying on the Cross for me. I ask that You forgive me of my sin. Please come into my life. Help me to live for You. Thank You Father GOD for saving me. In JESUS' Name. Amen.

If you said the prayer, and meant it in your heart, Welcome to the Family of GOD.

Continue in The Lord. In all that you say and do, let others see JESUS in you.
