For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10) We are not saved by works, so why do them? GOD enables us to do His Will. Out of love for GOD, we do good works. Appreciation for what GOD has done for us (forgiveness of sin, when we repent and turn to Him, salvation, through faith in JESUS shed blood on the Cross, new life in Christ, joy, peace... ). The people of GOD are able to do good, not of our own initiative, it is by His Spirit. We are led of GOD to do good. He empowers us from within to do His good pleasure. To GOD be the Glory. In JESUS' Name. Amen.

If you do not know JESUS as Lord and Savior, receive Him into your life Today. Turn from sin to GOD. You may say the following prayer, or you may use your own words: Dear GOD, Thank You for sending Your Son, JESUS, to die for the sins of the world. Thank You JESUS, for dying for me. I ask that You forgive me of my sins. Please come into my life. Help me to live for You. I need You. Thank You, Father GOD, for saving me. In JESUS' Name. Amen.
