The Bible
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV (c) 2016 Thomas Nelson) Both The Old Testament and The New Testament are relevant for today. Some feel that The Old Testament is archaic (out of date and out of touch: not trendy). The Old Testament's significance is great, as The New Testament. {Rabbi Kirt Schneider states that The Old Testament and New Testament are as 'A Hand In A Glove'.} The Old Testament foreshadows The New Testament. The New Testament fulfills The Old Testament. The New Testament reveals that which The Old Testament prophesies (foretells). GOD promised that the Messiah (Anointed One) would come. JESUS, The Savior of the world, came as GOD said that He would. All the occurrences today are related to the past. Ecclesiastes lets us know that there is nothing new under the sun... That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. (see Ecclesiastes 1:9; 3:15) We must know where we come from to know where we are going. From Genesis to Revelation (in the Bible) it's about JESUS. We must read/ hear the contents to learn about GOD our Creator, the history of humanity, and our purpose for being on the planet. By GOD's grace, when we repent (turn to GOD from sin) we can be forgiven, born again from above, and have New Life. Through faith in JESUS shed blood on the cross for our sins, we look expectantly for JESUS' return to take us home to heaven. Praise GOD for JESUS. Glory to GOD. In JESUS' Name. Amen.
If you do not know JESUS personally as Lord and Savior, receive Him into your heart, Today. You may say the following prayer, or you may use your own words. Dear GOD, Thank You for sending Your Son JESUS to die on the cross for the sins of the world, and Him rising again on the third day. I ask that You forgive me of my sins. Please come into my heart and help me to live for You. In JESUS' Name. Amen.
If you said the prayer, and meant it in your heart, Welcome to the Family of GOD. Continue in The Lord. Let the light of The Lord shine through you.
