Tithing

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:8 KJV biblehub.com) Some people give tithes (a tenth) of financial resources to the local church. Some do not give financially to the church. Tithing may be thought of as an Old Testament law. Tithing is not based on the law. Abel, the second son of Adam, gave a respectable offering untoThe Lord. (And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. Genesis 4:4 biblehub.com). Abraham gave a tithe unto Melchizedek, before the tithing law was administered. (see Genesis 14:18-20biblehub.com). The preceding are examples of how giving was done, not out of law, rather a willing desire. May we give from our heart out of love for GOD and a desire to please Him. Glory to GOD. In JESUS' Name. Amen.

Do you know JESUS as Savior and Lord? Receive Him into your life Today. You may say the following prayer, or you may use your own words: Thank You, Father GOD, for sending Your Son JESUS to die for the sins of the world. Thank You, JESUS, for dying on the Cross for me. I ask that You forgive me of my sin. Please come into my life. Help me to live for You. Thank You Father GOD for saving me. In JESUS' Name. Amen.

If you said the prayer, and meant it in your heart, Welcome to the Family of GOD.

Continue in The Lord. In all that you say and do, let others see JESUS in you.
